With the current global crisis and lock down regulations, its clear that the gigs for this month will not happen.. We can only hope that after this is all over, venues will be able to reopen and little by little things return to normal.

We are delighted to introduce our new singer Tommy Eriksson who has joined the band. Please give him a warm welcome and come see his first gig with the band on September 7 at La Cabana (the old Eden Bar) which is across the road from Laguna Village/El Padron.

The band will be joined by guest singer Luka Revaise from the UK for a one off gig at the Sabi Street Party in Plaza Los Noranjos, Sabinillas on August 17. Luka plays with Rob in Deeper Purple who are no strangers to the Costa del Sol. Luka is a larger than life character and so this will be big fun!

The event starts at 21:00 with Silver Dollar Forgers kicking things off before The Rob Sas Band play at 22:30. There is no entrance charge so there is no reason not to be there!

We are delighted to introduce you to our new drummer Andy Mackechnie – a well known veteran of the Costa del Sol music scene who takes up the drum stool.

Andy’s first gig with the band will be at Louie Louie in Estepona Port this coming Saturday July 27. We look forward to working with him lots in the future!

Sadly, The Hot Castle Rock event in Duquesa Castle will not be happening on July 13 this year following the recent local government elections but instead the band will be playing at the very fab La Cabana in El Padron near Laguna Village, Estepona. Its becoming a regular venue and its always big fun to play.

On drums for this gig will be Rob’s mate of almost three decades, Ross Elder who is flying in from the UK and will be guesting with the band for a one off gig which is bound to be fun. Rob and Ross have not only been very good friends for all this time but they have played in more bands together than either of them can probably remember!
